WHO WE ARE
My passion for dogs was born with me, my mother tells me that already as a child, if I heard a dog barking I absolutely had to see who it was and where it was; as I had the luck to be born in the countryside, I have always been surrounded by dogs (that at the time were mongrels) and other animals such as hens, rabbits and so on.

While I was growing up, my passion increased and I can remember that one of my first books was a kind of encyclopaedia, with information about all the aknowledged dog breeds. Thanks to some magazines of the time (Argos and QuattroZampe) I started following the world of Dog Shows, reading several breeders' interviews, and this made me feel like becoming one of them.

I can remember my 15° birthday, when I went to visit Turin International Dog Show and for the first time I saw thousands dogs, prepared at their best, who underwent the judgement. Just on that occasion I saw for the first time a Zwegschnauzer and I was striken by their look. I talked to some breeders and then I decided I wanted one of them. So my first Show dog arrived (as you can see in the Gallery page); this subject was  “Pascià della Val Chisone” called Iury.

With him I started attending the rings and with him I shared the first joys and disappontments of shows, as it often happens with your first show dog, I soon realized that because of its faults I would't be able to obtain great successes, but in spite of this I was not sorry and Iury has lived with us for 16 years.

As I couldn't afford buying another show dog and as I had understood the Schnauzer was not the right dog for my personality, for some years I attended shows with some friends who had Afghan Hounds and Shih Tzu; it was just in one of these occasions that I met a Pekingese a breed I desperately fell in love with at first sight, so I looked for more and more information about it.  I dound several books about the breed and I started contacting breeders until I got my first  Pekingese (Ch. Attis Jir-bo), a dog of Czechoslovakian origin but with much English blood.ma con molto sangue inglese.

This subject greatly contributed to make my love for the breed grow, and it gave me emotions and successes. Thanks to it and its wonderful temper, I started my kennel, I started to know English breeders and from them I got very important subjects, both from the shows point od view and very important the blood lines to go on with breeding.

Without being presumptuous, I think that my success is mainly due to my patience, I never wanted to burn the stages, nay I have always made a little step after another, and I have always remained with my feet firmly on the ground.

While my showing carrer proceeded, I have become a member of the Gruppo Cinofilo Monregalese as advisor, and I am still the vice-president fot the third time; I have also been vice-president of the Alba Local Kennel Club, and I am also Councelor of the 6th section (Pekingese and Chin) of the Club Cani Compagnia.

I have also had another dream in the years, to become a judge, and after many sacrifices and studying, this dream has become true and in October 2007, I have become a Judge Specialized for the breed Pekingese, the only one in Italy. All this wouldn't have been possible without my parents' support, who do not attend shows, but day after day help me in running my amateur kennel, and without my friends' help.
